Nicole Pillhofer is an Australian lyric coloratura soprano based in Berlin, Germany, performing in opera and concert repertoire across Europe and Australia. She is known for her focus on vocal beauty, expressive musical line, and stylistic clarity, bringing both precision and warmth to every performance.

Recent roles include Morgana in Handel’s Alcina with OperUs and the Sandmännchen in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel with the Berlin Opera Academy.

Her concert and oratorio repertoire includes works such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Cantata BWV 51, and Vivaldi’s Gloria, performed with orchestras and festivals in Australia, Malaysia, Spain, and Italy.

A prizewinner in multiple Australian competitions, Nicole has been named Champion of Champions at the Mackay and North Queensland Eisteddfods and received First Prize at the Australian Concerto & Vocal Competition.

She has also appeared as a soloist at the Lanzarote Opera Festival in The Canary Islands, Spain and in recital with the OperUs Young Artist Academy in Trieste, Italy.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance) from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music and continues her professional development through international opera academies and young artist programmes, dedicated to bringing elegance, clarity, and emotional depth to every performance.
